Happy Anniversary Card

Hi friends.  Bonnie here with you today sharing a quick spring themed anniversary card featuring a pretty bow created with Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
This is such a pretty color combination.  I think you will be seeing a lot of it over the next few weeks.
The center of the pretty handmade flower is embellished with a 12mm Dotted Wave Rhinestone.
My bi-color bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8" Tropic and Light Coral Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This gorgeous ribbon comes in 37 beautiful colors and is perfect for tying gorgeous bows.

Have a Swell Day

Thanks for stopping by the Really Reasonable Rib bon blog today, everyone.  We always appreciate your visits, and always hope you're inspired by the art we share using some of the fabulous products found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I love using up old patterned papers from my stash; and by adding a few simple trims and some pretty flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon, it quickly becomes an extra special card.  Just look at what these two trims did for this card:
Once I had my patterned papers together and in place using my Scor-Tape Adhesive, I added a length of Color Band With Stitched Edge (in Tan) and used some delicious Cotton Candy Baker's Twine to wrap around my card several times and tie into a bow.  I did ink the edges of my patterned papers (which I almost always do), and I added a couple of stickers.  On top of my Cotton Candy Baker's Twine bow, I added a White Flatback Pearl.  All around that, I added several sweet Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms.  I used a pastel assortment that is currently out of stock, but there are miniatures in stock and they are beautiful!  I love adding them to my cards for an extra sweet kiss of cuteness!
Really Reasonable Ribbon has SO MANY great trims and trinkets to quickly adorn your next card or project.  I encourage to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop to see for yourself what I mean when I always that they "truly have it all".  I know you'll find something you absolutely LOVE, and that will make your next project amazing.  And....don't forget about the fun challenge taking part now on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.

Have an amazing and creative day.  You're welcome to stop by my blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to get a few more product details.

Family Heritage Layout

Hello ribbon lovers.  I am sharing a family heritage layout using beautiful ribbons and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I tied a bow using the Leather Tan Seam Binding. I glued the Wild Orchid Open Rose Mixed Pink Tone to the layout and added a little glimmer to the rose tips by adding glitter glue.
I added Juliet Lace at the top of the layout to complete.
I hope you enjoyed a little family heritage layout inspiration.
Wishing you a create day, dear friends.

Wonderful Friend

{judy} Good morning ribbon lovers! Today I have a monochromatic card (almost!) to share with you, using some of the gorgeous Shimmer Satin Ribbon that Bonnie carries and a little touch of bling!
I used all sorts of teal and aqua shades in my inks and paper, and added another shade for my ribbon, using the Aqua Shimmer Satin. I love the sheen of this ribbon, and it comes in so many beautiful colors!

The silver metallic butterfly adds its own sparkle in the light, and I set that off with one of the pretty Rhinestone Ribbon Sliders in the RRR Store - the 18mm round slider.
Images and dies by Stampin' Up! I love the elegance that the ribbon sliders add - fast and easy! Thanks for stopping by today!

Ribbons and Flowers and Butterflies, Oh My!

Hello Ribbon Lovers!  Have you started your Easter cards yet?  I just enjoyed one more play date with my Spring Rainbow of Color Ribbon Club Assortment and made the sweetest Easter card.

This Grape Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon is just perfect for springtime and Easter!  Especially when you pair it up with pretty papers and chippies from Graphic 45's Sweet Sentiments Collection.  It performed double duty on this card, serving as both the belly band and the triple loop bow.

After tying my bow with my Zutter Bow-it-All Tool, I topped it with Ivory Burlap String and a stamped and colored butterfly.  I love the way the ribbon pulls out all the beautiful purple flowers in the paper collection.

The inside of the card has two pockets, both filled with sweet treats.

The top pocket contains a little handmade button card, all dressed up in its Easter best.

I filled the lower pocket with a tag that I made using bits and pieces that were on my work table.  Oh, and candy...because it's Easter, you know?

Thanks for stopping by!

Simple and Elegant Card with Ribbon Slider

Hi friends! Linsey here and I hope you're having a great day! Today I've made a super easy and fast, yet strikingly elegant card to share with you. It took all of 5 minutes to make and can be easily altered with any RRR of your choice to create a custom look for a special card or handmade invitation.
I chose the absolutely gorgeous 7/8" Aqua Double Faced Satin Ribbon to feature on the front of my card. I love this color SO much. To really make it look fancy, I slid my ribbon through a round 18mm Bling Metal Rhinestone Buckle Ribbon Slider which is one of the 6 piece Bling Metal Rhinestone Buckle Ribbon Slider Assortment.  To finish, I added a simple word chipboard piece popped up on a dimensional adhesive dot an 3 silver fancy sequins. That's it! This is a design that would be great for making multiples of the same card/invitation because it's so simple and requires only a few supplies. Plus, the Rhinestone Assortment has 6 unique bling pieces for only $2.89 so you can make 6 stunning and sophisticated cards that look like a million bucks, but aren't. That's a lot of beautiful bang for your buck!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you've been inspired to create something beautiful with Really Reasonable Ribbon today! Happy crafting!

Easter Wishes

Hey there ribbon peeps!  My day to share a project made for Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I decided to use this sweet image from Crafty Secrets finally.  Perfect for an Easter card.  I used some neat chipboard pieces and painted them and used them as my base.  Then I layered my card and adhered vintage millenary flowers around the whole image.
I then tied my bow using the purple/white lattice in satin and added a bit of purple seam binding,
I added a flower and a stamped banner and was done.   Thanks for visiting! Cherry

Floral Layout

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday to all!  Cheryl here today with a beautiful layout of my Grandma I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful shimmer satin, and embellishments. I LOVE how this layout turned out!!
I truly miss my Grandma, she was such an inspiration.  Not only was she my Grandma, but a Mom, Best Friend, and someone who would listen to what you had to say, and never was negative about it. Always tried to cheer you up when things were down and have you look at the brighter side of life. Wow how I miss hearing her voice and spending time with her. She was so loving, and spent her time with you.  We always enjoyed having my grandma come stay at our house for the day, have dinner, and then hubby or I would bring her home. All the sweet memories I have , I will cherish forever! Love you Grandma!!!!

Anyway, now that I have tears, I best move on to my layout! I chose these 3 photos of my Grandma. One was from when she was little baby(1917) and then next I'm not sure what age she was. But the last is from when we had photos done in 1991.  We did a 4 generation photo.  I just cut off the rest of us to make this layout just of my grandma. All photos were copied in black in white years back, and now are being used, so happy for this!

I ended up printing out the borders from the Delft Digital set, backed them with the dark blue from Boardwalk Club Kit, and then added blue sewing to each. The tag that I cut in half for this layout I just love.  It's absolutely beautiful, and there is room for writing.  I just LOVE the printouts of these, and love how they look on my layout for today.

The yellow background design paper is from the Delft Deluxe Kit. I also used the stencil from this collection to use on the background of the photo mattes for each photo.

Flowers were cut using white card stock, and then airbrushed using a blue and yellow Copic marker and my air compressor. I added some flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon to the centers of each Daisy. Dies used are from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Bows were created using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Blue Shimmer Satin.  The center pieces are from their clear rhinestone embellishments.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating this beauty.  Please let me know what you think, as I always love reading your comments!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Thinking of You

Hi friends.  Bonnie here today with a card in my favorite color combo of pink and purple that features Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This is my all time favorite ribbon style for making beautiful bows.
I admit I've been in a little bit of a funk lately and my creativity just isn't there.  It doesn't mean I don't like to make stuff though and when this happens, I like to do things that don't take too much thought.  So I grabbed some pretty paper I made a while back and made some beautiful handmade roses.  I find work like this to be relaxing since I get to use my hands and I don't really need to do too much thinking.  My rose and doily dies are all from Cheery Lynn Designs.
My pretty bi-color bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8" Hot Pink and Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

For a video tutorial on how to create this beautiful bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the other products I've used on my card, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.

Dream Hot Air Balloon All Occasion Greeting Card

Well hello there Peeps! I had myself a good ol' time working on this card going totally overboard with the chippies and embellies. Sometimes that little voice inside my head says "more more more".  I have tried to reign that voice in...but not today!

I'm using the gorgeous Tropic Colored Taffeta, Bambo Cord,  and Burlap String from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Wishing all of you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G

So Proud Of You

Welcome by again today, everyone.  It's Karen Letchworth here today sharing a sweet little card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using just a few of my favorite RRR trims.  Ribbons, baker's twine and lace always give cards so much rich texture and personality, and you can ALWAYS trust that Really Reasonable Ribbon will have the exact colors and styles you need for any project.  From super pretty and elegant to super shabby and rustic, Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect trims and finishing touches.
I made this card using two pieces of patterned papers that I inked on the edges with distress inks.  Next, I ran a border sticker along on the right-hand side of my card aside a length of Debra Natural Crochet LaceBurlap Center-Stitched Navy (which is closer to a teal color actually), and Teal Baker's Twine.  I also ran a small length of the Teal Baker's Twine over the chipboard banner pieces to create a string of pendants.
The sentiments were stamped directly onto some little journalling stickers using Black Soot Distress Ink.  I left one spot at the bottom blank so that the date of that first solo bike ride could be documented there.  I plan to send this card to my Great Nephew, Gideon.  He has mastered the art of bike riding; which as we know, is life-changing for a young boy.  Not to mention, super exciting!
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Don't forget about the fun challenge taking place on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  We'd love to have you play along with us, and we hope that next time you need some ribbon or trim, you will think of Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Have an awesome day!
Karen Letchworth

Learn to Dance Card

Hello Ribbon Lovers!  Are you ready for Spring?  I know I am!
I love that we can create spring inspired cards even when it's cold outside!  The new Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment helps us with beautiful spring colors.
I used the beautiful blue ribbons from the assortment and the delicate Victoria Lace.
Then I add the Pearl Heart Ribbon Slider to complete this fun and easy card.
Wishing you a wonderful day, sweet friends.

Just For You

{judy} One of my favorite "old" techniques is Direct to Paper, where your ink pad goes right on the paper for a fun, different kind of look.
I used two distress inks and stamped the cubes directly on to my watercolor paper in a geometric design, then spritzed the paper with water. After that was dry, I stamped my sentiment with VersaMark ink and embossed with Pearlized Amethyst EP.
I added Gold Metallic Baker's Twine as fringe on both sides for embellishment to this comtemporary, mixed media card. In retrospect, it would have looked fun all the way down one side too. All my layers, and the fringe, are held together with Scor-Tape. There are many ways to use the Direct to Paper technique, with many different looks. If you have never tried it before, take a look at this tutorial. Have a great Sunday!

"Fabulous" Retro Style Birthday Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers! How is it even possible that this is the last week of March?  It's been a busy month for me, as we had 3 family birthdays to celebrate.  My sweet sis-in-law Becky means the world to me and I wanted to create a really special card for her birthday. I found the perfect ribbon in the Spring Rainbow of Color Ribbon Club Assortment to go with the "Fabulous" collection from Authentique.  Honestly, this Tropic Taffeta bow stole the show!

I super love the way this triple loop bow pops against this retro color palette.  As I've mentioned before, I've developed a serious "ribbon crush" for taffeta.  It simply ties the most gorgeous bows, especially when you use your Zutter Bow-it-All tool!  I love to add these loopy string bows to my ribbon clusters for extra fullness.  This one is made with Ivory Burlap String.

I had a blast finishing the inside of this fun retro style birthday card.  The small side pocket contains a personal birthday message from me to Becky.

The larger pocket holds a hand stamped birthday greeting, a fun retro magnet that Becky can put on her fridge, and a little sweet treat.

Thanks for stopping by!

Soft & Shabby Woodland Style Easter Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  I have been having the best time creating spring cards with the March Ribbon Club Assortment.  It's added a whole new level of happy to my time in the studio.  Today I have a soft & shabby Woodland style Easter card to share with you.  It has pretty purple polka dot ribbon, a shimmering butterfly and gorgeous papers from Graphic 45's Sweet Sentiments collection.

This Grape Satin Swiss Dot ribbon makes a beautiful belly band for my card. The color blends perfectly with the pretty floral papers.  After tying my triple loop bow on my Zutter-Bow-it-All Tool, I topped it with an Ivory Burlap string bow

The stamped and die cut butterfly is sponged with Distress Inks, then lightly coated with Stardust Stickles.

I created pockets on the inside of the card and then filled them with sweet little Easter treats.

I tied a snippet of that pretty Grape Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon around my handmade button card and used it to finish off my little art tag, too.

I hope you are having fun creating with pretty spring ribbons and beautiful papers, too!

Thanks for joining me!

kathy
